Earlier this evening, the Government officially opened King’s Cross St. Pancras, a major internchange point of the Londinium Underground. Serving the Piccadilly and Jubilee lines, the station will later serve Crossrail as well as national and international rail services. The station itself is a major architectural and logistical achievement, and it is yet another success story of the Londinium Underground Expansion Plan.
As part of the opening of King’s Cross, Piccadilly Circus has been closed due to its proximity to the station. The Jubilee line instead serves King’s Cross.
